In a Harvard Business Review article , “Branding in The Digital Age”, the author (David C. Edelman) writes, “more than 60% of facial skin care products conduct online research about the products after purchase - a touch point entirely missing from the [previous] funnel. When consumers are pleased with a purchase, they’ll advocate for it by word of mouth, creating fodder the evaluations of others and invigorating a brand’s potential”.
Capitalizing on their already engaged consumers, lululemon must enhance their “loyalty group’s” experience on the web to make sure that other athletic wear competitors do not do so first.
