  • Certified in Final Cut Pro
  • Witz Certified in all other OSX software
  • Go to Nashville for the Country Music Festival
  • Run Vancouver Sun Run
  • Family Trip up to Whistler (1wk), down the coast (1wk)
  • Tofino for a weekend
  • Submit article that is published in Vanmag
  • Move closer to the ocean
  • Career that incorporates all my passions: social media + content creation + sports

2010 Goals in Review:

  • live in a new place

  • live by the water (mountains are a bonus)
  • cut my commute in half (cut commute from from an hour in car to 15 minutes on foot!)
  • own a piece of the rockies (own a seasons pass to Whister
  • complete a PR program, gain experience  (Done, 3 times over)
  • work with a non-profit that aligns with my interests
  • attend the 2010 Olympics  (Attended: Snowboard cross & Canada v. USA hockey game)
  • meet Kenny Chesney (miraculously).
  • teach a group of at-risk youth how and why to goal set (most rewarding experience)
  • organize a soccer team
  • take daily vitamins (yum!)

How Social Media has Changed Digital Branding & the Consumer Decision Journey

 

In a Harvard Business Review article , “Branding in The Digital Age”, the author (David C. Edelman) writes, “more than 60% of facial skin care products conduct online research about the products after purchase - a touch point entirely missing from the [previous] funnel. When consumers are pleased with a purchase, they’ll advocate for it by word of mouth, creating fodder the evaluations of others and invigorating a brand’s potential”.  

Capitalizing on their already engaged consumers, lululemon must enhance their “loyalty group’s” experience on the web to make sure that other athletic wear competitors do not do so first.
